Brain Pop - Ask your teacher to learn more about this resource. Free Rice -Choose a category and quiz yourself. Every correct answer donates 10 grains of rice to help feed starving people. Geo Guesser -Look at images from Google Earth and guess where they are to score points. Show your teacher your score when done. Nature Sound Map -Listen to nature sounds anywhere in the world. Aerial Panorama -Check out the world from the view of a helicopter. National Geographic Photos - More than just a picture - in your reflection, write where in the world the photo was taken, what did you learn about the subject of the photo (What job does the person do? What natural setting makes this picture different and interesting?) and your impression and reaction to the photo. Write about 3 photos for one PLT reflection. Astronomy Picture of the Day - In your PLT reflection on an APOD, you should write about what the subject of the photo is, the name of the mission or person who is credited with creating the image, and the science behind the image. There are many links in the caption of each day's APOD. Find out information from at least 3 of those links. Record all of this in your PLT reflection. |
